Premier Gardens Ltd is the culmination of decades of hard work, expertise, and a shared passion for transforming outdoor environments. Our company was formed through the strategic merger of two highly respected local businesses: Premier Gardens and Garden Creations. For years, our directors operated as separate entities, often finding themselves pricing for the same projects and developing a mutual respect for each other’s craftsmanship.
They realised that by joining forces, they could create a single company that offered clients an unmatched level of experience, efficiency, and service.
This merger has allowed us to pool our resources, expand our capabilities, and build a stronger, more resilient team, all while relieving the pressures of running solo operations and achieving a better work-life balance.
Meet Our Directors: A Legacy of Expertise
Our leadership team brings a combined total of over 50 years of hands-on experience in the horticulture and landscaping industry. Their careers began long before the merger, with one director starting in the field in 1987 and the other building his own successful business for over a decade.
They have worked in every facet of the industry, from renowned garden centres like Cowell’s and Peter Barratt’s to Dobbies at Ponteland, gaining an encyclopaedic knowledge of plants, materials, and construction techniques.
This journey has been based entirely in the North East, giving them an intimate understanding of the local environment. They know which plants will flourish in our soil, how to manage drainage on clay-heavy ground, and how to design spaces that can withstand our coastal weather.
This hyper-local expertise is invaluable, ensuring that every garden we create is not only aesthetically pleasing but also sustainable and built to last.
